FAQs

    1. Open the Settings Page:

      • Look for the gear icon, which indicates the Settings page.

      • You can find this gear icon in two places:

        • Top-right corner of the main Log Book page

        • To the right of any title page when inputting a dive log

    2. Customize Your Fields:

      • Once on the Settings page, you can customize the fields according to your preferences and needs by turning the toggles on or off.

      • Note that switching your toggles does not cause anything to be lost, it simply controls what information is displayed on the screen.

    1. Toggle the Search Mode:

      • Look for the flag icon to the right of the search bar.

      • If the flag is red, the search mode is set to dive sites only.

      • If the flag is gray, the search mode is set to all locations.

      • Tap the flag to switch between dive sites only (red) and all locations (gray).

    2. Search for Locations:

      • Enter your search query in the search bar.

      • The results will be filtered according to the current search mode.

    3. Identify Dive Sites in Search Results:

      • Dive sites have a flag icon to the left of their names in the search results. This helps you easily distinguish them from non-dive sites.

    4. Add Dive Sites to Your Logs:

      • To add a dive site directly to your logs, tap the plus (+) button to the right of the dive site name in the search results.

      • By using these features, you can efficiently find and manage dive sites or explore all destinations based on your preferences.

    1. Open the map (either from the map opened in a log entry or from the Map button at the bottom of the screen):

      • Navigate to where you want to add the custom dive site.

    2. Hold on the Map:

      • Place one finger on the map and hold it in the desired location for a few seconds.

      • A pop-up menu will appear, prompting you to input the dive site name and location details.

    3. Input Dive Site Information:

      • Enter the name and location for your custom dive site.

      • Ensure that the name and region are unique; if there is another existing site with the same name and region, an error message will appear, prompting you to correct your input.

    4. Save the Dive Site:

      • Once you have entered the unique name and location, save the dive site.

Note: Custom dive sites are only visible to you and are not shared with other Digidive users.

    1. Access the Map:

      • Tap the Map button at the bottom of the screen to open the map interface.

    2. Search for Destinations:

      • Use the search bar to look for dive destinations or general destinations.

      • Toggle between dive sites and all destinations using the flag button to the right of the search bar. A red flag indicates dive sites only, while a gray flag indicates all locations.

    3. Add a Site to Your Wish List:

      • In the search results, click the plus (+) button to the right of the site name to add it to your Wish List.

      • Alternatively, navigate to the site on the map, tap it, and then click the plus (+) button to add it to your Wish List.

    4. View Your Wish List:

      • Tap the My List button in the top-right corner of the screen.

      • The top half of My List shows you sites you have dived in the past (tapping on them zooms to their location on the map). The number on the right indicates how many times you have logged a particular site.

        • Any site with the Wish List icon next to it was previously a Wish List destination.

      • Your Wish List is on the second half of the list (scroll down to it if it’s not immediately visible). You can remove sites from your list by clicking on the minus (-) button.

Note: Wish Lists are only visible to you and are not shared with other Digidive users.
